WINTON WOODS BOATHOUSE TEMPORARY RELOCATION PROJECT
Sealed bids, in duplicate, will be received by the Board of Park Commissioners of Great Parks of Hamilton County at the Winton Centre, 10245 Winton Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231 for the Winton Woods Boathouse Temporary Relocation Project, 801 Lakeview Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231, as set forth in the Request for Proposal. Bids are due by 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2025.
This project is to be awarded following Great Parks Board Meeting on April 17, 2024. The Winton Woods Boathouse Temporary Relocation Project will include site preparations, disassembly of floating docks, relocation of floating boathouse via Winton Lake from moorings to temporary anchorage for duration of lake drawdown, and subsequent return of boathouse to original moorings. Work is planned in anticipation of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ scheduled Drawdown of Winton Lake from August 1 – November 30, 2025. Great Parks requires the Boathouse to be anchored in the temporary anchorage no later than Friday, July 25, 2025.
Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly designated on the outside of envelope with the project name. Bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud beginning at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Winton Centre, 10245 Winton Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231.
Contractor shall have experience and skill to maintain, install, alter, and repair improvements such as docks, seawalls, piers, anchoring systems, and other marine structures.
A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the Winton Woods Boathouse, 801 Lakeview Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231.
