Digital Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) will be received for the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (“MSDGC”) by the City of Cincinnati (the “City”), as sole management agency for the operation and maintenance of MSDGC at the following website:

All proposals must be submitted electronically only via the City’s Bonfire portal at the above link. Responses submitted by hard copy, mail, or e-mail will not be accepted. See “RFQ Submissions” at Section 1.10 of the RFQ for details.

As of 05/01/2024, interested parties may download RFQ Documents from the Cincinnati Bonfire website and should frequently return to the site to monitor for project-specific updates and addenda.

A brief description of the services sought:
In the Northside neighborhood of the City of Cincinnati, just west of Hamilton Avenue (i.e. US 127), is a series of three combined sewer segments between Anthony and Innes Avenues and two segments of sewers between Otte Avenue and Robinson Circle. Each of these sewer segments are in very poor condition and all are partly located under structures; with most being situated off-road and mainly outside of the roadway right-of-way (ROW). The sewers in question are constructed from vitrified clay pipe (VCP) and full of heavy deposits with significant longitudinal cracking and pipe deformation present; they are clearly in need of significant rehabilitation or replacement.
It is anticipated that professional engineering and related consulting services shall be provided to support the referenced project during the study, planning, design, and construction phases.
