REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

Support for the Development of a Parsimonious Mathematical Model of Hydraulic Time Series

RFQ # 2024-003

Digital Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) will be received for the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (“MSDGC”) by the City of Cincinnati (the “City”), as sole management agency for the operation and maintenance of MSDGC at the following website:

All proposals must be submitted electronically only via the City’s Bonfire portal at the above link. Responses submitted by hard copy, mail, or e-mail will not be accepted. See “RFQ Submissions” at Section 1.10 of the RFQ for details.

As of 2/16/2024, interested parties may download RFQ Documents from the Cincinnati Bonfire website and should frequently return to the site to monitor for project-specific updates and addenda.

Questions on this project or any part of the RFQ Documents must be sent via e-mail to MSD.PROCUREMENT@cincinnati-oh.gov by the established deadline. The deadline for questions is 1:30 PM local time on Tuesday, March 5, 2024.

A brief description of the services sought:

MSDGC is working to develop a simplified (parsimonious) mathematical model with a hierarchy of parameterization for hydraulic and hydrologic time series. For this endeavor, MSDGC requires expert assistance in the development and testing of these mathematical structures. A partnership between academia and consulting engineers with experience in the hydraulic modeling of sanitary and combined sewers would be desirable. The work may include reporting, modeling, analysis, presentations and other such related components of the work.
