Great Parks of Hamilton County is requesting Letter of Interest submittals from qualified Consultants to provide professional design services for the dredging of Sharon Lake located in Sharon Woods, 11450 Lebanon Road, Sharonville, Ohio.

Sharon Lake was opened in 1937 and lake recreation became a celebrated pastime for the community.  In an effort to continue the recreational benefits of Sharon Lake, it was mechanically dredged in 1988 to remove sediment deposits. Since that time, sediment has accumulated, threatening the health of the lake.  The objective of this project is to dredge the lake and restore it to a healthy condition.

Letter of Interest submittals are due Friday, January 11 by 4 p.m. Proposals shall be submitted in one (1) letter size bound hard copy and in a digital file PDF format.  Proposal files shall contain the firm’s name and “Sharon Lake Dredging Professional Design Services” in the file name. Hard copy and digital file submittals may be mailed or hand delivered but it is the responsibility of the Consultant to ensure the submittal has been received by the deadline.  All documents shall be submitted to Todd Palmeter, Chief of Planning, Great Parks of Hamilton County, 10245 Winton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231.
