INVITATION FOR RFQ

The Village of Evendale is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from Design Firms for the purposes of providing professional design services for a feasibility study of the Evendale Police Department. The purpose of the study is to identify and evaluate various areas of the department for a phased renovation of the existing facility. Sealed SOQ’s shall be received by the Village of Evendale, 10500 Reading Road, Evendale, Ohio 45241 Attn: James Jeffers, Village Engineer, until 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.
The Village will evaluate the submitted SOQ’s and select a design firm to enter into negotiations for a contract to perform the feasibility study. Questions regarding the RFQ process may be directed to the Village of Evendale Engineering Department at 513-563-4338 or service@evendaleohio.org.

Sealed bids shall be addressed to and will be received by the City of Reading located at 1000 Market Street,
Reading, Ohio 45215 until May 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. for:

Plans & Specifications for the work may be obtained from Key Blue Prints, Inc. The cost for plans is $100.00
per paper set and $100.00 per electronic set.

Note 1: The Owner assumes no responsibility to supply Builders Exchanges and similar plan review rooms
with all addenda issued. An attempt will be made to do so; however, only registered plan holders will be
notified of expected Addendum with short preparation times.
Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with
Section 153.54 through 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security, furnished in Bond form, shall be
issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio in the full amount of one hundred
percent (100%) of the bid amount. A 100% satisfactory performance and payment bond shall be required
of the successful bidder.
Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside with the bidder’s name and
address, and the name of the project for which the bid is submitted. Each bid must contain the full name of
the party or parties submitting the same and all persons interested therein.
All bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Hamilton County and
the City of Reading as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage & Hour
Administration.
The City of Reading reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept or reject any part thereof.
