A brief description of the services sought:
SSOs 603 and SSO 704 are located in the Cooper Creek Basin of the East Branch Mill Creek Sewer Shed. The project area includes these two SSOs and approximately 6,000 feet of existing sewer in Sycamore Township south of Trebor Drive, from Belfast Avenue to Tudor Court, in Hamilton County, Ohio. The sewer was constructed between 1940 and 1948 and is severely deteriorated. SSO 704 was constructed in 1952 to relieve basement flooding and SSO 603 was installed at an unknown date. Both SSOs are classified as Generally Active SSOs.
A partial design was previously performed for this project and was put on hold until the SSO 700 IWAP could be completed. The previous design drawings, geotechnical report and existing easements are included with this solicitation as supporting documents for reference. The selected Offeror, however, will be responsible for developing a Business Case Evaluation to review alternatives that best meet project objectives.
The anticipated term of the contract resulting from this RFQ is 8 years. This includes three phases: planning, design, and construction phase engineering services.
