Great Parks of Hamilton County (GPHC) is requesting Letters of Interest submittals from consultants to provide professional design services for the “Little Miami River Access at Bass Island.” The project location is in Hamilton County, Ohio, in Anderson Township.
The project consists of constructing a launch to the Little Miami River for nonmotorized watercraft, an accessible path from the launch to a drop-off area, a turnaround loop that will accommodate vehicles with a boat trailer, a stream crossing at Dry Run, and a basic restroom building (including a feasibility study). Additional parking and accommodations for vehicular circulation to meet the demands of facility improvements at Bass Island are also planned.

All consultants submitting a Letter of Interest for the “Little Miami River Access at Bass Island” shall register by October 29, 2021 at 4 pm. To register provide the firm’s name, address, and a contact name with phone number to Sean Creighton at screighton@greatparks.org.  
Any questions prior to the deadline should be submitted in writing by email to Sean Creighton at screighton@greatparks.org by October 29, 2021 at 4 pm.  
Letter of Interest submittals are due Friday, November 5, 2021 by 4:00 p.m. Submittals shall be provided in five (5) letter size bound hard copies and in one (1) digital file PDF format. Submittal files shall contain the firm’s name and “Little Miami River Access at Bass Island Professional Design Services” in the file name. Hard copy and digital file submittals may be mailed or hand delivered but it is the responsibility of the Consultant to ensure the submittal has been received by the deadline. All documents shall be submitted to Sean Creighton, PLA, Landscape Architect, Great Parks of Hamilton County, 10245 Winton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231.

Hydraulic Modeling of Project Alternatives at the Planning and Design Level

Digital Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) will be received for the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (“MSDGC”) by the City of Cincinnati (the “City”), as sole management agency for the operation and maintenance of MSDGC at the following website:

All proposals must be submitted electronically only via the City’s Bonfire portal at the above link. Responses submitted by hard copy, mail, or e-mail will not be accepted. See “RFQ Submissions” at Section 1.10 of the RFQ for details.

Questions on this project or any part of the RFQ Documents must be sent via e-mail to MSD.PROCUREMENT@cincinnati-oh.gov by the established deadline. The deadline for questions is 1:30 PM local time on Thursday, November 4, 2021.         
A brief description of the services sought:
MSDGC requires engineering support for modeling of alternatives. This is primarily a planning level activity, and the consultant must demonstrate in the submittal substantive experience in modeling with an awareness of cost.  In general, this will not require a detailed preparation of cost-estimates, but will rather consider, model and summarize a range of alternatives suited to the particular set of conditions.
