Sealed proposals will be received at the Hamilton County Purchasing Department, 138 East Court St., (Room 507) Cincinnati, OH 45202, until 11:00 A.M. on November 8, 2021, and will be read at that time for ITB# 094-21 – Hamilton County Sheriff Patrol Headquarters Furnace Replacement Project.
A PRE-BID CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD ON OCTOBER 19, 2021 AT 1:30 PM, AT HAMILTON COUNTY SHERIFF PATROL HEADQUARTERS, 11021 HAMILTON AVENUE (MEET AT: PARKING LOT BY FLAGPOLE) CINCINNATI, OH 45231.
This is a prevailing wage project, and the estimated budget is General Construction $125,000.00.  Proposal forms, specifications, etc. may be obtained upon application at the ARC, 4219 Malsbury Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45242 or they may be electronically retrieved by accessing the following web site – http://www.hamilton-co.org/purchasing/.

Sealed bids will be received at the City of Reading located at 1000 Market Street, Reading, Ohio 45215, until 10:00 a.m. local time on Friday, October 29, 2021 for all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide municipal waste and recycling services for the City of Reading
Each bid must be made in accordance with the specifications which are now on file in the general offices of the City of Reading at 1000 Market Street, Reading, OH 45215.
Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside with the name of the bidder, his address, and the name of the project for which the bid is submitted. 
Each proposal shall contain the full name and address of every person, firm or corporation interested in the same and shall be accompanied by a bond given in favor of the City of Reading, Ohio for an amount equal to at least 100% of the total amount of the bid, with surety or sureties satisfactory to the City of Reading from a surety company authorized to do business in Ohio. The bond shall provide that the bidder shall, within 30 days after notice of acceptance of his proposal, enter into a contract and give an acceptable bond in the sum of not less than 100% of the contract price to properly secure performance within the contract time. 
The City of Reading reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities.

This project consists of installation of a total of approximately 56 linear feet (LF) of 6-inch diameter gravity sanitary sewer lateral and other sewer appurtenances to serve 740 Asbury Road. The new sanitary sewer lateral will outfall to SS 1290 along the Woodruff Road public right of way. The project will also include asphalt/concrete pavement removal and replacement.
The work takes place in Hamilton County, Ohio
The estimated cost of construction for this project is: $74,664.00
If a contract is awarded, it will be done so in accordance with the Contract Documents, including the method of award identified in Section H of the Instructions to Bidders in Section 00 21 13. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, or to advertise for new bids, if the best interests of the City will be promoted thereby.
