Electronic or sealed proposals will be received at the Hamilton County Purchasing Department, 138 East Court St., (Room 507) Cincinnati, OH 45202, until 11:00 A.M. on August 18, 2021, and will be read at that time for RFP#045-21 – Voting Registration System for Board of Elections.

Sealed Proposals endorsed “Main Street, Haskell Lane & Riverside Drive Street Improvements” will be received at the office of the Village Administrator, Village of Batavia, 65 N. Second Street, Batavia, OH, until eleven (11) o’clock am Local Time, on Friday, July 23, 2021, and at that time publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Chamber of the Village of Batavia for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to  complete work, in accordance with the bid documents and specifications to be made available July 8, 2021.
Work in the Village of Batavia includes the addition of northbound and southbound left turn lanes and a southbound right turn lane on Riverside Drive, including sidewalk and radius improvements, storm sewer, curb and gutter, and pavement markings. The existing traffic signal will be modified at the Riverside intersection and a new traffic signal will be constructed at the Haskell Lane/Foundry Ave intersection. The approximate length of the improvements is 813-ft. The project will be constructed in two phases namely, Phase A and Phase B.

Each bidder is required to furnish with the proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Performance Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 through 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code.  Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.
All proposals shall be made and properly executed on proposal forms as issued by The Village of Batavia and bound together with other documents and specifications. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein.  Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity.   Phase A work shall be substantially completed and accepted by November 30, 2021 and Phase B work shall be substantially completed and accepted by July 31, 2022.
All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project.  Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor’s Executive Order of 1972, and Governor’s Executive Order 84-9 shall be required.
The Council of the Village of Batavia shall authorize acceptance of the bid made by the responsible bidder who, in Council’s judgment, offers the best and most advantageous proposal, considering quality, service, performance record, and price; or Council may direct the rejection of all bids.  Council may waive any irregularities and reject any or all bids.
