Sealed Proposals endorsed “2018 Deer Park Streets Improvements” will be received at the office of the Safety Service Director, City of Deer Park, Ohio, until nine (9) o’clock am Local Time, on Tuesday, the 20th of February, 2018, and at that time publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Chamber of the City of Deer Park for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment to complete the construction, all in accordance with the bid documents and specifications to be made available February 6, 2018 in the office of the Safety Service Director.
Project involves the resurfacing of various streets within the city of Deer Park.
The bid documents and specifications are on file and may be obtained from The Kleingers Group, 6305 Centre Park Drive, West Chester OH 45069. The charge for these plans and specifications is $35 (non-refundable). 
Each bidder is required to furnish with the proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Performance Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 through 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code.  Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.
All proposals shall be made and properly executed on proposal forms as issued by the City and bound together with other documents and specifications. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein.  Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity.   All work shall be completed and acceptable by June 1, 2018.
All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project.  Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor’s Executive Order of 1972, and Governor’s Executive Order 84-9 shall be required.
The Council of the City of Deer Park shall authorize acceptance of the bid made by the responsible bidder who, in Council’s judgment, offers the best and most responsive proposal to the City, considering quality, service, performance record, and price; or Council may direct the rejection of all bids.  Council may waive any irregularities and reject any or all bids.

Sealed Proposals endorsed “Silverton Municipal Building Site Improvements” will be received at the office of the Village Administrator, Village of Silverton, Ohio, until noon (12) o’clock pm Local Time, on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, and at that time publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Chamber of the Village of Silverton for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete work, in accordance with the bid documents and specifications to be made available February 5, 2018.
The Village of Silverton is requesting proposals for construction of a new, 57 space asphalt parking lot, associated utilities and landscaping.  The Parking lot will be located north and west of the new Municipal building currently being renovated at the northwest corner of Park Avenue and Montgomery Road.  There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting held at the construction site, on February 13, 2018 at 10:00 AM. 
The bid documents and specifications are on file and may be obtained from The Kleingers Group, 6305 Centre Park Drive, West Chester, OH  45069. The charge for these plans and specifications is $100 (non-refundable).  Checks should be made out to The Kleingers Group, Inc.  Bid documents and specifications are on file in the plan room of Allied Construction Industries.

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Zoning Appeals of the Village of Silverton will hold a public hearing on Monday, February 19, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. for consideration of an area variance for an outdoor seating area for the proposed craft brewery to be located at 6860 Plainfield Road. The applicant is seeking an area variance to allow them to have outdoor seating greater than 25% of the indoor seating. Said meeting will be held in Council Chambers, 6860 Plainfield Road, Silverton, OH 45236.
