Miami Whitewater Forest
Baughman Road Shared Use Trail
Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Park Commissioners of Great Parks of Hamilton County at the Winton Centre, 10245 Winton Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231 for the Miami Whitewater Forest Baughman Road Shared Use Trail located at 9354 Baughman Road, Harrison, Ohio 45030, as set forth in the Drawings and Specifications.
The project consists of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment and material necessary for the construction of a 10,620 square foot shared use asphalt trail and a 13,630 square foot asphalt parking lot.
The work consists of clearing and grubbing, tree removal, excavation, embankment, erosion control items, ditch protection, pavement items, storm drainage conduits, construction layout stakes and surveying.
Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly designated on the outside of envelope with the project name. Bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday November 30, 2017 at the Winton Centre.
A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the project site.
Bidding Documents may be viewed at McGraw-Hill Construction Dodge and ACI plan rooms. The legal advertisement may be viewed at www.greatparks.org.
Bidding documents shall be obtained from ARC Document Solutions, 7157 East Kemper Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45249, 513-326-2300, at contractor’s expense (no refunds).
Contracts for work under this bid will obligate all Contractors to comply with prevailing wage rates established by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Industrial Compliance, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration.
Proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee and Performance Bond meeting the requirements of Sec. 153.54 & 153.571 O.R.C. executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio in the full amount of the proposal, including add alternates. In lieu of a bid bond, a certified check may be substituted, payable to the Owner in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal amount, including add alternates. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after the bid opening date.
Great Parks of Hamilton County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

SEALED Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) will be received for the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (“MSDGC”) by the City of Cincinnati (the “City”), as sole management agency for the operation and maintenance of MSDGC at Two Centennial Plaza, 805 Central Avenue, Suite 234, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202:

A brief description of the services sought:
The Muddy Creek Basin has been studied extensively over the years.  Despite these studies, there remain some gaps.  The Muddy Creek Integrated Watershed Action Plan Project is intended to complete an overall master plan for the basin.  Previous completed studies, especially in the Upper Muddy and Schaible watersheds, should be referenced in this current effort.  The current effort will primarily evaluate the Lower Muddy and Ohio River Road watersheds to meet WWIP goals.   Portions of the study may impact and inform the following planning and design efforts:
*  Upper Muddy Creek Interceptor replacement
*  Upgrades at CSOs 402, 403, 404, 405, 406, 408 and 413
*  Design and location of future high rate treatment facilities, or modification of existing facilities
*  Upgrade of the Muddy Creek pump station and the Muddy Creek WWTP pump station
*  Muddy Creek East Branch pump stations upgrades for:
--  Anderson Ferry pump station
--  Fithian pump station
--  Foley Road pump station
--  Rapid Run pump station
*  Addyston pump station elimination.
*  High water and dry weather protection improvements at various outfalls
Projects included in this contract may include planning, design, as well as construction phase services.  Other services required may include permitting support, geotechnical services, condition and environmental assessments, surveying and easement drawing preparation, as well as real property title work appraisals.  Permitting experience with Army Corp of Engineers and Ohio EPA is desired. Coordination with stakeholders, including political jurisdictions, utilities, community groups, and the Hamilton County Park District, is anticipated. Property professionals must be certified and must have experience in the City of Cincinnati and Hamilton County.

Sealed Proposals endorsed “2017 Park Avenue Street Improvements” will be received at the office of the Village Administrator, Village of Silverton, Ohio, until noon (12) o’clock pm Local Time, on Monday, December 4, 2017, and at that time publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Chamber of the Village of Silverton for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete work, in accordance with the bid documents and specifications to be made available November 20, 2017.
Work in the Village of Silverton includes widening and curb replacement on Park Avenue and resurfacing of Gerdsen Drive, Holman Circle, S. Fordham Place, Superior Avenue, Grace Avenue, Placid Place, and Section Road.
The bid documents and specifications are on file and may be obtained from The Kleingers Group, 6305 Centre Park Drive, West Chester, OH 45069. The charge for these plans and specifications is $80 (non-refundable). Checks should be made out to The Kleingers Group, Inc. Bid documents and specifications are on file in the plan room of Allied Construction Industries.
Each bidder is required to furnish with the proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Performance Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 through 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.
All proposals shall be made and properly executed on proposal forms as issued by The Village of Silverton and bound together with other documents and specifications. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity. Work shall be substantially completed and acceptable by July 31, 2018.
All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor’s Executive Order of 1972, and Governor’s Executive Order 84-9 shall be required.
The Council of the Village of Silverton shall authorize acceptance of the bid made by the responsible bidder who, in Council’s judgment, offers the best and most advantageous proposal, considering quality, service, performance record, and price; or Council may direct the rejection of all bids.
Council may waive any irregularities and reject any or all bids.
