A brief description of the services sought:
MSDGC maintains approximately 100 sewage pump stations and force mains along with 50 low pressure force main systems which discharge to gravity sewers of various sizes at on and off road locations. Due to public service requests for odor and inspections by MSDGC crews, and the results of which demonstrating sewer corrosion, the District began a program to monitor these discharge manholes for hydrogen sulfide gas. The District has determined that it is necessary to provide treatment at locations that exceed certain thresholds so that odors and corrosion can be reduced. Several treatment options have been demonstrated to control the odors and corrosion caused by these discharges. This RFP will outline specific liquid and vapor phase treatments, which will be defined in the Scope of Services.
